Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Sand-Hut India Private Limited (“Sand-Hut”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use TrueSync at truesync-2026.web.app and the TrueSync Connector desktop app for Windows and macOS (together, “TrueSync”). TrueSync helps print shops receive documents from customers by QR code and print them.
Information we collect
Print shop owners
- Phone number — used to sign you in with a one-time code sent over WhatsApp.
- Shop details — shop name, paper sizes and prices, UPI ID (if you add one), pause message and printer preferences.
- Email address (optional) — only if you choose to add it, for account, service and product emails.
Customers sending documents
- Documents you upload and their print settings (copies, colour, sides, paper size).
- The name and notes you enter so the shop can identify your order.
- Customers do not create an account. We use an anonymous session so only you and the shop can see your documents.
TrueSync Connector app
- A pairing code, a device ID and an encrypted device secret. On Windows the secret is protected with Windows data protection (DPAPI); on macOS it is stored in the Keychain.
- The names of printers installed on the computer, so the shop can choose where to print, and the status of each print job.
- The Connector does not read other files on your computer, does not show ads and does not collect analytics or usage tracking.
How we use information
- To sign shop owners in and keep accounts secure.
- To deliver customer documents to the chosen shop, show previews and prices, and print them.
- To send service emails (welcome, account and pause notices) and, only if you have given an email address, occasional product updates you can opt out of.
- To prevent abuse, such as rate-limiting sign-in attempts.
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Customer documents expire and are deleted automatically within 24 hours of upload. A shop can also delete them earlier, or have them deleted automatically after payment. Customers can clear their own documents at any time.
- Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and are removed.
- Connector pairing codes expire after 10 minutes. Disconnecting a computer, or removing it in TrueSync → Printers, revokes its access. Uninstalling the Connector removes its local data.
- Shop account details are kept while the account is active. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove them.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run TrueSync, and they process data only on our behalf:
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud (hosting, sign-in sessions, database and server functions, India region).
- Amazon Web Services S3 (document storage, Mumbai region).
- Meta WhatsApp Business Platform (sign-in codes).
- Zoho (email delivery).
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Documents are accessible only to the uploading customer and the receiving shop through short-lived, signed links. Connector secrets are stored only as one-way hashes on our servers.
Your choices and rights
- View and update your shop details from Settings.
- Remove your optional email address at any time.
- Ask us for a copy of your data or to delete your account by writing to the address below.
We handle requests in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws.
Children
TrueSync is a business tool for print shops and is not directed at children under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify shop owners in the app or by email.
